Dr. Costa graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree and received the Doctor of Medicine degree in 2007. After completing orthopedic surgery training, Dr. Costa obtained subspecialty training in arthroscopy/sport medicine at the University of Toronto Orthopedic Sport Medicine (UTOSM) program. He also subspecialized in total joint replacement surgery at the University of Toronto. He continues to treat professional and amateur athletes.
Dr. Costa currently practices at the Michael Garron Hospital (formerly Toronto East General Hospital). His clinical interests include treating sport injuries/arthroscopic surgery as well as knee, hip and shoulder reconstruction.
